The Star City Coffee logo was a labor of love. What began as a brief sketch of a logo concept, flourished into the creation of a new identity for a small business in a small town adjacent to my university. The new logo gave the shop a revitalization and encouraged the inclusion of both students and residents alike to stop by for a visit. Seeing the growth of this shop just from my logo design was one of my favorite experiences with a client and business.

The final logo is now used on cups, bakery packaging, product packaging, stickers, and merchandise, as well as used across their social media and publications. The final goal with this design was to include landmarks from both the city of Lafayette as well as Purdue in order to appeal to both sides of the greater Lafayette area. The silhouette is versatile and interchangeable, making it useful for all functions in the shop.
